This page explains what Tech Cheat Codes collects (very little), why, and how to reach us.
Who we are and how to reach us
Tech Cheat Codes (techcheatcodes.com) runs this site. For any question, or any request about your data (including deletion), email [email protected]. We reply quickly.
What we collect
We don't collect personal information through this site. There are no sign-up forms, accounts, payments or bookings, and we don't currently collect names or email addresses through the site.
The only personal information we get is what you choose to send when you email us, such as your name, email address and message.
What our host sees
Our host, Cloudflare, may process standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver and secure the site. Cloudflare's privacy policy covers this.
Email sent to [email protected] is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to our Gmail inbox, where it's stored. Cloudflare's and Google's privacy policies apply.
Cookies, analytics and ads
- We don't set any cookies of our own.
- We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that doesn't use cookies or track you across sites. It counts visits and which pages people view, so we know what's helpful. Cloudflare's privacy policy covers it.
- We don't show ads or load any other third-party trackers or social media widgets. Share buttons are plain links that open the other site only if you click them.
Your Easy/Pro setting
The site remembers one thing in your browser's local storage: whether you picked Easy Mode or Pro Mode. It stays on your device and isn't sent to us. To clear it, clear this site's data in your browser settings.
News headlines
The headlines on /news/ come from publishers' public feeds. Our own server collects them, so no publisher or other third-party script loads in your browser. Each headline links out to the publisher's site, which has its own privacy policy.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, such as news publishers, stores, the tools we review and the official sources we cite. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this page doesn't cover them.
We don't use paid links yet. When we add them, each one will be labeled.
How we use and share information
We use what you email us only to read and reply to it. We don't sell or rent your personal information. We don't share it with anyone except the services named above (Cloudflare and Google), unless the law requires it.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete emails or other information we hold about you, email [email protected]. We'll reply quickly.
Children
This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has emailed us personal information, email [email protected] and we'll delete it.
Changes
We'll update this page if anything changes, including before we add a newsletter, payments, bookings or affiliate links, and we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top.
